Kieran is a champion for innovation that reshapes global creativity.

His unconventional approach has seen him recognised as the #14 Most Awarded Creative Director in the world - and #1 in Australia - by The Drum in 2024.

His campaign ‘FitChix’ for Honest Eggs Co. was one of the stand-out campaigns of 2023, taking out over 75 awards. Including 9 x Grand Prix and 34 x Gold. And most importantly the client’s business achieved previously unfathomable growth.

His stellar and proven track record has major gongs from all award shows - including 12 Cannes Lions across the previous five years at VML with Gold Lions in 2018, 2020 and 2023. Also in 2023 VML Australia was ranked No. 1 in APAC by Campaign Brief’s The Work, and the Melbourne office he called home was awarded The Global Agency Of The Year by the London International Awards.

Highlighted campaigns include ‘FitChix’ for Honest Eggs Co., ‘Sip Safe’ and ‘A Future Without Change’ for Monash University, ‘Lost in Translation’ for Royal Australian Navy and ‘The Half Biscuit’ for Legacy/RSA NZ. 

Moroney has also delivered long-term platforms such as the new Navy recruitment campaign ‘Live a Story Worth Telling’ and the five-year running behavioural change campaign ‘Victoria’s Big Build’ for the Victorian Government.

Ever committed to developing the next generation of creative talent, he recently served two terms as a State Head of AWARD School - Australia’s pre-eminent commercial creativity course. He also helps recognise and promote creative excellence across the New York Festivals, Spikes Asia and AWARD Awards jury rooms.

An avid backcountry fly-fisher, if he’s not spending time with his young family, you’ll find him waist deep in a river.
